Regional and commemorative baubles
Subcarpathian buildings and literary anniversaries become subjects for ornaments made for particular occasions.
Jazyk obsahu
Regional ornaments include representations of Krasiczyn Castle and Łańcut Palace. A recognisable building becomes the subject of a glass object intended for a Christmas tree. A separate collection marks the bicentenary of Hans Christian Andersen's birth. The dates 1805–2005 identify the occasion for its creation, not the age of the exhibits.
The collection also includes baubles bearing company logos. These commissions give a festive ornament the identity of a particular customer rather than a traditional winter motif. A series of hearts was made for the Danish company Petersgard Trading in 2004 and 2005. Such commissions served different purposes: representing a place, marking an anniversary or creating a range for a named buyer.
Regional ornaments depict particular buildings, while commemorative ranges recall an occasion or customer. In 2001, a collection inspired by Fabergé eggs was made for Emmelie Copenhagen in Denmark. Alongside the hearts and company-branded ornaments, it is another example of a design developed for a specific buyer.
