The carpet factory laboratory survives in the premises now occupied by Muzeum Sentymentów. It is an original room of the former works. The building’s industrial past remains a direct part of the exhibition alongside the reconstructed domestic interiors. Original equipment from the Kowary factory is associated with the laboratory. It was already mentioned among the collections during preparations for the museum in 2018, giving this room a specific working history.
The laboratory serves as a memorial room for the carpet factory. This section also covers other local businesses and connects objects with the working lives of Kowary residents. The museum’s industrial collections include pattern books, components and machinery used in carpet production. Together, patterns, equipment and the surviving room preserve material traces of the former factory behind the products familiar from homes.
