The Kashubian World of Fairy Tales opened on 20 July 2013 as an area primarily for the Centre's youngest visitors, complementing the more serious historical parts of the visit.
Its stories include Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, Puss in Boots, Pinocchio, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Wishing Table and The Frog King. These are classic tales known across Poland, rather than exclusively local Kashubian stories. Well-known Polish actors narrate the tales, accompanied by multimedia displays.
The area opens on weekends in May, June, September and October, and daily in July and August. The nine stories follow both human and animal characters, from the siblings in Hansel and Gretel to the cat who helps his master.
