The route begins by the surviving Romanesque church wall with the story of the abbey’s founding by Bolesław Wrymouth, then introduces the monastery gatehouse and the Gothic cloisters, where the coats of arms on the keystones recall former benefactors.
From the cloisters the way continues into the Basilica of the Holy Trinity with its paintings by Franciszek Smuglewicz, and on to the Oleśnicki Chapel, where the relics of the Wood of the Holy Cross have been kept since 1723. The story ends underground, in the crypt with the presumed remains of Prince Jeremi Wiśniowiecki.
