Figure-painting workshop
Paintbrushes bring faces, clothes and luggage to the miniature inhabitants of every Kolejkowo location.
Idioma del contenido
A face, clothing and a piece of luggage gain colour through work with a small brush. The figures are painted by hand, detail by detail. This part of the workshop creates the appearance of the characters that will later populate the miniature world’s streets and platforms. Painting means working on different surfaces of the same figure, from the face to the smallest accessories.
The Modelarnia produces around 800 figures a month. They go to the layouts at every Kolejkowo location, so the team’s work extends beyond the exhibition seen in Jelenia Góra. Each completed figure becomes an inhabitant of a scene, with its details retaining the traces of hand finishing.
Visitors can watch model makers working on new projects. A smaller team works on days off and public holidays. Photography is allowed without flash and without capturing employees’ faces. Visitors stay with the guide; the workstations are part of the active workshop.
