A Frania washing machine is one of the appliances in the museum bathroom. The interior places laundry equipment alongside small items used for daily washing and grooming. It presents household furnishings less often included in formal photographs of homes. The display contains a collection of toiletries from the Polish People’s Republic, including birch hair tonic, a product highlighted by the museum. Packages and personal-care products accompany the larger appliance.
A distinctive feature is the high-level toilet cistern, mounted well above the toilet. Like the washing machine and cosmetics, it belongs to the reconstructed interior. Sanitary fittings appear together with belongings kept by household members. The period bathroom was added to the museum in 2022, as a separate domestic interior complementing the living rooms and kitchen displayed elsewhere.
