White Lady Room

A hologram of the White Lady forms part of a multimedia presentation combining a castle legend with the natural surroundings of Grodno. The character is created through projection technology, while the accompanying effects explore the four seasons. Rather than presenting another piece of historical masonry, the room uses a legendary figure in a contemporary installation.

The room belongs to the Multimedia Bio-education Centre, which introduces the natural environment of the Góra Choina reserve and the Owl Mountains. The reserve protects mixed woodland covering the hill with Grodno's ruins. Protection here brings together a woodland habitat and a historic monument; the seasonal presentation relates to the landscape crossed on the climb to the castle.

The centre occupies two castle rooms: the White Lady presentation is complemented by a separate film about bats. Multimedia technology has been introduced into historic interiors, with the exhibition's themes remaining local nature and a story associated with the castle itself.
