The Wambierzyce Calvary

The walk begins at the monument to Daniel von Osterberg, who initiated the sanctuary's expansion. It then leads to the Well Chapel of Our Lady on the square, whose present stone structure was built in the late nineteenth century.

After these two stops, the route turns towards Calvary Hill. It ends at the 8th Station of the Cross, dedicated to Jesus's encounter with the women of Jerusalem. The three stops connect the sanctuary's foundation, local Marian tradition and the Passion narrative; they do not cover every station or chapel in the sanctuary.
