À propos de l’exposition

The castle, church and cemetery represent historic Warsaw, but the city also needs railways, crossings and a water supply. Models of Gdański Bridge, Śródmieście Station and Gruba Kaśka introduce this practical side of the capital.

Różycki Bazaar adds trade and everyday life in Praga. The individual miniatures open up the histories of their full-size counterparts, from rebuilding a royal residence to drawing water from beneath the Vistula. Placing ceremonial buildings alongside working infrastructure reveals the different purposes of urban architecture.
