Langue du contenu
Miś Uszatek and Three Bears are among the characters represented in the museum by original film puppets from the Se-Ma-For studio in Łódź. Before appearing in animation, Uszatek was a character in “Miś” magazine. Writer Czesław Janczarski created him, and illustrator Zbigniew Rychlicki gave him his appearance.
One puppet in the Rzeszów collection appeared in “Piasek Sahary” (Sahara Sand), directed by Jadwiga Kudrzycka in 1984. This was episode 83 of “Przygody misia Uszatka”. The museum featured the puppet as its object of the month in November 2025.
Ten puppets from “Trzy Misie” (Three Bears) were included in a separate conservation project in 2026. The project received funding through the “Supporting Museum Activities” programme. The museum also holds a character design for the three title characters. The drawing and the finished puppet document two different stages in preparing a character for film.
