Depot manager's rooms
Two reconstructed offices trace Jaworzyna's railway history before and after 1945.
A tartalom nyelve
Naczelnik 1930 covers the history of the railway in Jaworzyna Śląska from 1843 to 1945. The date in the room's name does not mean that its entire story concerns just one year. The second section, Naczelnik 1970, presents the years 1945-1990. Chronology connects the two rooms, with the end of the Second World War marking the division between their subjects. Together they cover more than a century of local railway history.
Reconstructed offices provide the setting. In the first, the locomotive depot manager's desk is a central feature. Rather than looking only at vehicles, visitors encounter the administrative side of railway work as presented in two different periods. Objects are accompanied by texts, maps and other visual material. These establish the local context: the history of a particular station, rather than only the general development of transport. The two rooms bring together the pre-war and post-war chapters of the same railway story.
