Muzeum Kultury Ludowej w Kolbuszowej

The Ethnographic Park of the Folk Culture Museum in Kolbuszowa presents Lasowiak and Rzeszów villages at the turn of the 20th century. Across nearly 30 hectares stand more than 80 wooden structures, including cottages, farm buildings, a watermill, windmills, smithies, a school, an inn, a fire station and a church. The visit moves through separate regional sectors whose layout refers to the historic areas inhabited by the two groups.

The buildings show different scales and functions of village life. Alongside homesteads, workshops and public buildings stands the manor from Brzeziny, dated 1753. In the homestead from Brzóza Stadnicka, visitors can see an oil mill with a screw press; the living room of the homestead from Kopcie contains an extractor for spinning honey out of combs.

The park combines architecture with furnishings and equipment once used in farming and crafts. Many buildings were moved here from different places in the region, so a single homestead may bring together structures of varied origins. The museum also runs educational events and opens selected interiors during guided visits.
