A tárgyról

The KrAZ 255 B1 belongs to a family of Soviet heavy-load trucks. Figures given for the type include a carrying capacity of 7.5 tonnes and a speed of up to 71 km/h. The 255B family entered production in Kremenchuk in 1967 and was subsequently developed into versions including the B1.

The vehicles had a 6×6 drivetrain: three axles with all six wheels driven for travel beyond surfaced roads. Wide tyres and a central tyre-pressure control system were among the features distinguishing this family from the earlier 214 series. Capacity, all-wheel drive and tyres describe three aspects of its work: what it carries, how power is delivered and how it meets the ground.

Gyerekeknek

The KrAZ 255 B1 is a large off-road truck. It can carry a load weighing 7.5 tonnes. That is the weight of the cargo, not the truck. The 255B family entered production in Kremenchuk in 1967, and later versions included the B1.

The code 6×6 means six wheels, all driven by the engine. The wheels are arranged on three axles. Wide tyres and a system for changing the air pressure inside them helped the truck travel over difficult ground. The KrAZ could reach up to 71 km/h. Its design was intended to carry heavy loads, including beyond surfaced roads.
