Von Jeuthe heraldic cartouche
A stone coat of arms of the von Jeuthe family, probably a fragment of a foundation plaque found on Lisowskiego Street.
Lingua dei contenuti
The stone cartouche from 1682 was found during renovation of a building on Kazimierza Lisowskiego Street in Zielona Góra. Its shape and the inscription above the coat of arms suggest that it was part of a larger foundation plaque. The arms belonged to the von Jeuthe family, nobility originating from the city.
Within the shield's tripartite field, a gold star surrounded by four red roses appears against a silver background. A crowned helmet sits above the shield. On either side is mantling, black on one side and red on the other, lined with gold. The crest above the helmet consists of two buffalo horns, gold and black, with red flames. The composition leads upwards from the shield through the helmet to the horns; each element has its own shape and colours.
