About the exhibition

Literárne Brezno combines a short history of the town's literary life with mementoes of Martin Rázus. Manuscript material, books and personal objects present his work in several different forms.

The following section places writers in chronological order, from the mid-seventeenth century to later generations. Panels with texts and images are complemented by objects in display cases. Alongside playwrights and poets are collectors of oral tradition and authors who combined writing with other professions.
