Begin with Po stopách predkov, where finds and reconstructions present early settlement. Then move to the two fortresses and the town's guilds, from defence to the rights and work of its inhabitants.

The Treasury of Folk Art and From the Lives of Our Ancestors turn attention to household objects, farming and decoration. Anton Bernolák and Gergely Czuczor bring the route to a close. Their different lives share a concern with words, grammar and dictionaries, adding another dimension to the region's material history.
