About

The manor granary from Bidziny dates from 1784 and is among the oldest wooden structures at the Kolbuszowa open-air museum. It stored grain harvested from the estate owner's fields. The large storehouse formed part of a manor complex and is displayed in the museum's Lasowiak sector. Alongside the manor from Brzeziny, it represents the economic support for a residence, distinct from its living and reception rooms.

Today, its spacious interior hosts temporary exhibitions. These are usually open from May to October, depending on the museum's programme. A visit combines historic architecture with the contents of the current display.

One example is “Dwie strony koloru” (“Two Sides of Colour”), an exhibition of paintings by Janusz Skowron and Mirosław Szędzioł scheduled for 16 May to 31 October 2026. The retrospective section devoted to Skowron also includes earlier views of Kolbuszowa: the area of today's roundabout on Sędziszowska Street and the house from Żołynia, one of the museum's first buildings.
