Underground mining train

The Underground Orange Tram concludes the underground tour. After seeing the waterfall, the group boards a narrow-gauge train that travels about 300 metres to the surface. Despite its name, this tram does not run through city streets: its track passes through former mine workings. The orange carriages are a recognisable feature of the route.

Visitors have been taking this ride since 2008. The train began operating on the lower level of the Black Adit after the passage below the waterfall had been cleared. It therefore completes the journey through the mine's levels, rather than interrupting the tour halfway through. The final platform is called Kopalnia Złota Główna, or Gold Mine Central. Here the guide says goodbye to the group after emerging from underground.
