Hersz Zellerkraut built the inn from Hadle Kańczuckie around 1895 and moved into it with his family. In the early 20th century, he added two rooms for a textile shop. The last owner was his son Szlama, who lived here with his wife Blima and their sons Musiek and Mechel.

The interior is divided into a taproom, living quarters and a mixed-goods shop. The taproom contains a large counter, known as a szynkwas, with beer-dispensing equipment. A separate side room was used to receive more distinguished guests. Two rooms in the centre of the building represent the home of a religious Jewish family in historic Galicia. The shop occupies the latest extension to the inn. Moving between these rooms reveals the proximity of work and household duties: serving guests, family life and selling goods.

The inn was one of the village's meeting places. Its museum arrangement includes both the public room and private interiors, giving the presence of Jewish inhabitants of Galicia a concrete form: the owners' names, household furnishings and a place of daily work.
