Tarasowa Restaurant
Max Berg's former Main Restaurant. Its contemporary interior draws on the colours of the Hall, the Pergola's concrete and the surrounding greenery.

Tarasowa, formerly also known as the Main Restaurant, opened with the Centennial Exhibition in May 1913. It was one of five restaurants serving the exhibition's visitors. Its architect was Max Berg, who also designed the Hall itself.
The original establishment included a Beer Hall and Wine Hall, as well as a large outdoor terrace. The entire restaurant complex could accommodate as many as five thousand guests. That figure describes the historic establishment, not the capacity of today's dining room or the number of tables currently available.
The new interiors were designed by Wrocław practice Cudo Studio. Mint-grey curtains refer to the columns, gold accents echo the dome's glazing, and pale terrazzo with green aggregate evokes the surrounding vegetation. This is a contemporary design inspired by the neighbouring architecture, not a complete interior preserved from the early twentieth century.
The revival of the old name accompanied the restaurant's reopening in 2022. Its culinary concept draws on local produce and Wrocław's food traditions, explored through sources including old menus. Historical dishes are given a contemporary form, while the terrace overlooks the Pergola.
