Director’s office and secretariat
The former factory director’s office combines industrial history with a reference to the film “Miś”.
Content language
The director’s office and secretariat opened to visitors on 1 May 2019. The office occupies the former carpet factory director’s room. Its connection with the factory is therefore specific: a room used to manage the works became part of the museum. Stamps are among the office objects. Including the secretariat extends the display beyond the director’s own workspace, with small items relating to everyday office tasks.
The reel-to-reel recorder refers to the machine in Chairman Ochódzki’s office in “Miś”. Andrzej Olszewski says the museum’s machine is the same kind as the one in the film; it is not described as a prop brought from the set. Visitors could initially record themselves on it. In a December 2024 interview, the founder explained that it had become a display object because operating it had grown troublesome.
