About the route

The route starts at the castle gate, where since around 1840 a Neo-Gothic portal has led onto the island surrounded by the moat.

From the courtyard it leads to the oldest part of the castle, the corner tower, and to the chapel in the east tower with the Sulima coat of arms on its keystone. Upstairs come the chambers with 17th-century painted ceilings, the story of the weapons cache and the manor interiors exhibition.

It ends in the Orsetti park, by the stone steps down to the moat decorated with lion sculptures, overlooked by the windows of the Knights' Hall.
